VanAire Expands Ownership to Steven Soderman

VanAire, Incorporated announced that Steven Soderman will join Tony Lambert and Eric Miller as an owner of the Gladstone, Michigan based manufacturing company.

“I am grateful for the opportunity and proud to be part of carrying out VanAire’s commitment to its customers, employees, and the community,” Soderman stated.  “It is an exceptional opportunity in what is truly an exceptional company.”

Soderman is a 1998 graduate of Michigan Technological University and has been with the company since 2017 when he assumed the roles of C.E.O. and Quality Manager.

It also was announced that Bill VanDeVusse will continue to serve the company as its President.  The announcements were made during a monthly employee meeting where semi-annual profit sharing checks were also distributed.

“VanAire’s culture is one of shared results where the people making the company profitable share in its successes,” VanDeVusse stated.  “I look to Steve, Tony and Eric for the daily operation of the company and the outstanding results they have achieved make this absolutely the right move at this time.  This transfer also ensures that VanAire will continue to be locally owned, contributing to the Delta County economy while serving as an independent provider of engineered valve automation hardware to the industry.”

VanAire is the leading manufacturer of engineered valve automation hardware and wastewater pretreatment systems.  The company is projected to finish 2018 with record sales up 24 percent over 2017.

In October, VanAire was selected as “Business of the Year” by the Delta County Area Chamber of Commerce.  The company celebrated its 20th year in business in 2015 and employs 80 full-time employees.
