Danfoss releases EVR v2 solenoid valves

It has been announced that Danfoss has launched its new EVR v2 solenoid valves, which have been improved throughout 2017. Reinforcements and rationalization now make the valves capable of accommodating higher refrigerant pressure and a broader range of applications while reducing the references, inventory, and servicing time.

Decisive benefits for HVACR professionals include reduced applied and operating costs without compromising on reliability in all applications — from cold rooms to chillers and heat pumps. The valves will be progressively available at wholesalers through March 2018.

The wide range is available for cooling capacities from 3 to 410 kW (0.85 to 116 tons) in liquid line, 0.3 to 65 kW (0.08 to 18.3 tons) in suction line, and 1 to 350 kW (0.28 to 99 tons) for hot gas bypass, with connection sizes from 6 mm to 42 mm – 1/4” to 2 1/8”. They have the same built-in length as the actual EVR with the corresponding connection size except for the bi-metal connections.
