Sofis to supply valve interlocks

The global company, Sofis Valve Operation, is set to supply 4,500 Netherlock valve interlocks to an EPC contractor in Kuwait. This is one of the largest valve interlock orders of the ten years. The EPC contractor is delivering the first phase of a heavy oil development program for the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). The interlocks will mainly be fitted to pressure safety valves and pig traps.
Sofis has a regional office in Dubai, which allows for close communication between it and the other project teams on the heavy oil development program. This was one of the key reasons why Sofis was chosen as the valve interlocks supplier. In addition to its local engineering support in Dubai, Sofis also has offices all over the world including the United States. Its American offices are located in Erlanger, Kentucky and Houston, Texas.
