Danos wins Williams contract in North Carolina

Danos has secured a contract with Williams Partners to perform valve and piping modifications to the existing header system at the Pine Needle LNG storage facility operated by Williams in Stokesdale, North Carolina.

The project incorporates six of Danos’ service lines and three subcontractors to complete the facility upgrade. The scope of work includes the replacement of 27 PSVs (Pressure Safety Valve), as well as piping modifications to 38 other PSVs. In addition, Danos will install six automated blowdown valves, three automated isolation valves and all related electrical, instrumentation, control systems, cable trays and conduits.
 
The project is expected to take approximately four months to complete. In addition to on-site construction, Danos will also provide project management, fabrication, automation, coatings and scaffolding services.
