SPX Flow forms service joint venture in Iraq

SPX FLOW Inc., a global supplier of flow components, process equipment and systems with US headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina is entering into a joint venture with the WTE Wajdi Group to service rotating and static equipment for oil and gas, industrial and power customers in Iraq.

The new venture will have offices in Dubai; a local 1000-square meter fully equipped workshop has been built within the Rumalia Concession Area, strategically located to provide easy access to the country’s Zubair, Majnoon, Rumalia, West Quarna, Garraf and Missan super-giant oil fields and to serve Basra’s and Baghdad’s refineries and power stations.

The joint venture company will provide field services, site surveys and workshop overhaul and maintenance services for all manufacturers of rotating equipment including centrifugal, reciprocating and metering pumps and mixers. Static equipment service for valves, filters and quick release closures will also be provided.
