Wood Group awarded Greater Western Flank contract

Wood Group, a multinational energy services company with numerous locations across Canada and the United States, has secured a USD $6 million contract with Woodside to support the execution of phase two of their Greater Western Flank (GWF-2) project, on the North West Shelf (NWS), offshore Western Australia.

Effective immediately, Wood Group will provide engineering support for the subsea pipeline system during the fabrication and construction stages.

The GWF-2 development represents the next phase of gas supply to the existing NWS project infrastructure, following the Persephone project. GWF-2 will develop the hydrocarbon resources of Keast, Dockrell, Sculptor, Rankin, Lady Nora and Pemberton fields.
