Halliburton names new Chief Financial Officer

Halliburton, one of the world’s largest oil field service companies with headquarters in Houston, Texas has announced the appointment of Christopher (Chris) Weber as executive vice president (VP) and chief financial officer (CFO), effective June 22, 2017. Weber joins Halliburton from Parker Drilling Company, a global provider of drilling services and rental tools, where he served for four years as senior VP and CFO.  

Weber has more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry; holding key roles in finance, strategic planning, corporate development and operations.

Weber holds an MBA in finance and strategic management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree in economics and English literature from Vanderbilt University.
