Moog Inc., designer and manufacturer of motion and fluid controls and control systems headquartered in Buffalo, New York have been granted USD $8.5 million in Excelsior jobs program tax credits in support of the company’s plans to expand its facilities in Western New York.
The $53 million expansion project and will add one manufacturing facility each at its Aircraft Group campus in Elma and its Space and Defense Group campus in Wheatfield.
“Moog’s expansion and commitment to create hundreds of new jobs is a huge win for … (the) Western New York area, giving residents with math, science and technology skills an opportunity to have a well-paying high-tech job at a world-renowned manufacture,” says Howard Zemsky, president, CEO and commissioner of Empire State Development.
