PurgEye Site for non-oxidised zero colour welds

Huntington Fusion Techniques (HFT), whose US headquarters are located in Florida, has announced the release of its virtually non-destructible Weld Purge Monitor designed specifically for onsite conditions. The PurgEye® Site is a guarded oxygen monitor in a secure, safe, waterproof and dustproof box, IP68 rated with the lid open and IP65 rated with the lid closed.

It aims to assist welders with ensuring that non-oxidised, zero colour welds are achieved regardless of conditions. Its large OLED display is designed to allow the data to be easily read and is primarily symbol based, rather than text.

The onsite oxygen analyser can read oxygen levels in parts per million (ppm) or percentage, depending on user preference. Flow detection aims to ensure accurate reading of gas samples, along with a blocked filter icon and power on/off with a standby button for sensor warm up.
