Actuator manufacturer to expand in Louisville

LINAK, a producer of actuators and actuator systems used in industrial automation, agricultural machinery, healthcare and more, plans to add a 145,000-square-foot warehouse at 2200 Stanley Gault Parkway, Louisville, spending USD $14 million on a building addition and new equipment.

According to state filings, LINAK will invest USD $32.7 million and within the next five years will hire 413 employees who will earn USD $25 per hour, including benefits. The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has approved tax incentives of USD $3.5 million. The company’s current 60,000-square-foot office and manufacturing facility is located in the Eastpoint Business Center near Anchorage.
