Tekna Seal acquired by Winchester Electronics

Winchester Electronics has announced the acquisition of Tekna Seal, a Minneapolis-based maker of custom seals that bond glass and ceramics directly to metal, designed for the needs of industries which require components that can maintain hermetic seals in machinery.

Winchester Electronics makes connectors and cable assemblies which are applicable in a range of industries, such as aerospace, military, marine oil & gas and data infrastructure. Snow Phipps Group, which bought Winchester Electronics in June 2016, has backed the acquisition and also reported the deal’s value at USD $10.5 million.
