Emerson expands global presence

Automation solutions provider, Emerson, has announced the acquisition of Florida-based Locus Traxx and Idaho-based Paksense, as it expands its global capability in fresh food monitoring, according to a recent report. Locus Traxx monitors food and high value shipments in transit, while Paksense is a cold chain technologies provider.

Emerson, located in Ferguson, Missouri, supplies remote monitoring services to 17,000 food retail sites across the world.
