Smalley advances ring & spring manufacturing

Lake Zurich, Illinois-based manufacturers of wave springs and Spirolox® retaining rings, used in medical devices and electronics, Smalley has newly expanded its manufacturing capabilities, allowing it to design and manufacture wave springs and Spirolox retaining rings down to 0.165” diameters.

Smalley’s Crest-to-Crest® Wave springs originated nearly 35 years ago with the company promise of providing space-savings advantages while continuing to provide spring height reductions of nearly 50 percent, compared to standard coil springs.
