Zahroof Valves, Inc. (ZVI) has been named a finalist in the 2016 Edison Awards, in the category of “Energy and Sustainability,” due to its StrightFlo (ST) compressor valve technology.
The ZVI SF valve is a patent-pending reciprocating compressor valve technology that results in step improvements in valve performance indicators through its unique design. The innovative design, based on the patented Modular Reed Valve technology, delivers a step change in reciprocating compressor performance, serviceability and reliability while reducing gas emissions to the environment. In addition to its 10 year warranty, the ZVI SF valve has proven to improve valve efficiency by up to 40% and significantly extend run time between valve service intervals.
Winners of the Awards will be announced at a celebration gala in New York City in April.
