Hantemp Controls’ new stainless ball valve

Illinois-based Hantemp Controls, a manufacturer of stainless steel refrigerant valves & other refrigeration controls, has introduced an innovative ball valve designed to withstand the often corrosive and harsh environments of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems.

Featuring a stainless steel body, ball, stem, back-seat spring, and trim, the COBRA-NECK® ball valve can be used to control pressure, temperature, flow, and liquid level in large refrigeration systems. While many existing products are made from ordinary steel, which readily corrodes when exposed to air or moisture, the COBRA-NECK® valves offer unmatched corrosion resistance due to the material’s high ductility.
