ITT to expand Wesminster testing facility

The high-technology engineering and manufacturing project company, ITT Corporation, will be expanding its manufacturing operations in Westminster, South California. The company will invest $1 million to construct a new testing facility for natural gas vehicle (”NGV”) components. The initiative, as part of the company’s efforts to fortify its Control Technologies business, would also support its global growth strategy.
The new facility at Westminster would involve testing of NGV apparatus, which forms a segment of the company’s extremely engineered Conoflow brand products. These apparatus includes liquid natural gas regulators for heavy vehicles as well as dense natural gas pressure regulators.
As per ITT Corporation, the initially invested sum of $1 million is part of the total investment amount of $2.5 million, estimated as necessary for the new testing facility over the next five years.
