Control Southern announced that they are now the local sales representative for Farris relief valves throughout Florida.
The relief valve product line is manufactured by Farris Engineering, a division of Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Corporation. Control Southern is proud to bring these quality products and solutions to the process industries in Florida. The Farris line includes process pressure relief, steam safety, and specialty pressure relief valves, which are AMSE National Board certified to handle air, steam or water, depending on the model. This expansion adds to Control Southern’s existing Farris territory, which previously consisted of Southeast Georgia.
“We’re excited to be able to expand our Farris offering into Florida and provide more support to customers for their pressure protection needs, especially since safety is a principal component of their everyday operations”, noted Control Southern Vice President Tim Sumner. In addition to this new product line adoption, Control Southern has experience testing and repairing Farris relief valves as part of its FAST Center-authorised Mechanical Services operations in Savannah, Georgia.
