Bashneft & Emerson sign memorandum

Bashneft and Emerson Process Management have signed a long-term Memorandum of Cooperation on the development of systems for comprehensive automation of industrial facilities. The document was signed by Bashneft President, Alexander Korsik and Vice President of Emerson Process Management and Director General of LLC Emerson, Nikolay Shestakov.

In accordance with the memorandum, cooperation with Emerson will include designing and manufacturing automated process control systems, valves, instrumentation and controls and supplying them to Bashneft’s enterprises and facilities, engineering, testing, adjusting and commissioning equipment, providing maintenance services for the supplied equipment during its operation and advising Bashneft’s specialists.

“Development of cooperation with Emerson is aimed at improving the quality of automation system designs, reducing the lead time for the delivery of equipment and cutting costs related to commissioning and operating new and renovated production facilities,” emphasized Korsik.
