ASCO extends composite solenoid valve

ASCO Numatics, the manufacturer of comprehensive fluid automation, flow control and pneumatics solutions, has extended its 212 series to include 3/8” and 1” pipes sizes that incorporate the FasN universal connection system. The 212 Series has been designed specifically for water purification and conditioning systems in commercial and industrial applications.

The entire 212 Series, including the 3/8” and 1” valve has the highest pressure and temperature ratings on the market – up to 150 psi and 180°F. Its robust, lightweight, engineered plastic body has been built and tested to achieve up to 1 million operating cycles.

The composite valve 212 Series has been tested and certified by NSF International under NSF 61 Annex G (drinking water), NSF 169 (special purpose food equipment and devices), and NSF 372 (lead-free). It also has been tested and certified against NSF Standard 42 for materials and structural requirements. This valve design meets the requirements of section 1417 of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA).

The 212 Series comes with ASCO’s new FasN universal connection system. With FasN, the valve quickly connects to any type of fitting – NPT, quick-connect, and solvent-bond – for rapid assembly, lower cost, and design flexibility. The ASCO composite valve is ideal for reverse-osmosis and misting applications.
