Aquatrol has launched a new line of safety and relief valve products. The Aquatrol Series 740 is a full-nozzle safety relief valve designed for applications within the flow, motion and process industries. It has ASME approval for all services including air, gas, steam and liquid.

The 740 comes in a range of metals including stainless and carbon steel, Monel, brass/bronze and variations within. It can handle pressure settings to 750 PSI and temperature ranges from -320°F (cryogenic compatible) to 800°F.

There are 17 combinations of sizes, ranging from 1/2″ x 3/4″ to 2″ x 3″. It is available in both NPT and BSPT. Its excellent lifting characteristics, coupled with high C.O.D., give customers the ability to choose the best economics in sizes (relative to flow requirements). Advanced swivel seat design ensures industry-leading pressure/sealing tightness.

“The 740 Series valve line compliments Aquatrol’s offering. We now have the ability to cross-over with most screwed/portable safety and relief valve products world-wide.”
