Farris Presented SmartPRV™ Technology

Farris Engineering, a Curtiss-Wright Company, presented its SmartPRV technology at the Saudi Arabian Section of the International Society of Automation (ISA) event in December. The event was be held December 7-11th in Damman, Saudi Arabia.

Farris’ SmartPRV technology is the first wireless monitored pressure relief valve, incorporating Fisher’s 4320 wireless position monitor with the Farris 2600 Series valve. Historically, pressure relief valves have been difficult and expensive to monitor allowing associated overpressure events to go undetected. SmartPRV technology, processing facilities are able to accurately monitor, record and estimate costs related to every overpressure event. SmartPRV is part of Farris’ total pressure relief management solutions that transform the way you ensure plant safety.
Farris is proud to be part of the ISA event which “encourages automation and control professionals to share knowledge and technical expertise.” It is the first such conference in the Gulf Region.
