Skanska to expand thermal power plant in Brazil

Skanska has been awarded a construction contract to expand a thermal power plant for a confidential client in Brazil. The total amount of the contract is BRL 169 million.
Skanska will be responsible for the procurement and construction of the facilities, including civil works, electromechanical installations and commissioning.
Works are scheduled to begin immediately and the project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2014.
