Netherlocks emergency valve remote partial stroke

Netherlocks’ FAITH Partial Stroke Test system can conduct online tests for emergency shutdown (ESD) and high integrity pressure protection system (HIPPS) valves. Proper operation of emergency valves can be overseen from the control room and degradation can be reduced by operators.

FAITH can be integrated into a valve’s static and dynamic couplings and uses a simple design for reliable operation. The mechanical steel blocking pins in the system ensure that valves cannot be operated past the preset test angle, which eliminates the risk of overshoot or process interruption. The new remote testing feature allows operators to conduct and monitor partial stroke tests of emergency valves without the need to access the FAITH system manually.
