Independent energy company involved in the exploration, development and production of oil, gas and other minerals, New Western Energy Corp. has signed an agreement with Carroll Energy, LLC. Carroll Energy is a Kansas-based company with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas sector.

Carroll Energy will prepare engineering, reserves and geological reports on their largest leasehold 1,700acre B&W Ranch oil and gas lease which has the potential for a number of oil and gas discoveries. The studies will include recovery and reserves analysis, reservoir mapping, historical production analysis, geological evaluations and log interpretations and will give recommendations on the budgets, safety guidelines, environmental concerns, prepare production schedules and lay out the preliminary drilling programs.

The B&W Ranch Oil & Gas lease is located in the Chautauqua Arch; to the south the Central Oklahoma platform merges with the Cherokee basin of southeastern Kansas. Prospect formations are at depths less that 2,000ft.
