TransCanada has awarded two fabrication and construction contracts worth CAD 58 million for work on its terminal in Hardisty, Alberta, to WorleyParsons. The Australian engineering company’s Canadian subsidiary WorleyParsonsCord will conduct brownfield work on Terminal A and plant construction work at Terminal B at the facility. Hardisty, 190km south east of Edmonton, is the site of TransCanada’s major crude oil terminal hub and will also serve as the hub for the Keystone pipeline. WorleyParsons’ work on the project is scheduled to be completed by December.
