Metallized Carbon Corp’s carbon-graphite ball valve seats are designed to be used in valves which handle hot liquids or hot gases. They are available in more than 150 grades of Metcar’s carbon/graphite material and can be used in temperatures from 350F to 800F even in oxidizing environments. They are suitable for fire-safe petroleum industry ball valves and since they also have a high degree of chemical compatibility, they are a good fit even the most severe chemical environments.
