Emerson has redesigned the mobile app for its DeltaV™ SaaS supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software. The redesign will allow end users to better utilize their mobile devices in the field with more efficient, optimized operations.
With its user-friendly features, the app’s redesigned interface allows more intuitive viewing and allows the ability to customize reports to compare multiple sensors and locations to better understand ongoing operations. Additionally, alarms (via push notifications) ensure operators and technicians are aware of problems as quickly as possible.
Users can also gain access to new route planning features and create routes/runs on the fly with new widgets to simplify the operation, making it easier to realize total alarms for selected locations and comparison of volumes produced.
