Woodward recently held a grand opening for its new Heavy Frame Turbine Valve & Actuator facility in Greenville, South Carolina.
According to the company, the facility will specialize in overhauling heavy frame gas turbine hydraulic/electric valves, guide vane actuators, and stator vane actuators. Additionally, the expansion will double its service capacity for heavy frame gas turbine valves and actuators in North America. As a result, it will enable faster turnaround times and minimize downtime.
Investment was made in automated end-of-line test stands to ensure full restoration to Woodward quality and performance standards.
