Danfoss Further Invests in Mexico with Monterrey Facility Expansion

Danfoss celebrated the opening of its expanded Monterrey, Mexico factory, which represents the fourth expansion at the site since its inception.

The project was driven to meet demand for energy efficient HVAC equipment in the North American and Latin American markets. It also contributes to the $100 million investment the company has made in Mexico over the past four years.

The investment doubles production and adds three new product lines to the facility. It will house the production of sensors, microchannel heat exchangers, scroll compressors, and semi-hermetic BOCK compressors.

The project serves as an important part of Danfoss’ LEAP 2030 strategy. The concept aims to reduce delivery times and further strengthen supply chains for customers in all markets. Production will start early 2026.
