IMI’s EroSolve Wet Steam solution has crossed the milestone of 750 orders from power and process plants across the globe. This highlights the real-world engineering capabilities of a product developed through IMI’s Growth Hub.
EroSolve Wet Steam solution’s protects turbine by-pass valve internals from condensate erosion, especially during initial plant start-up. It optimizes droplet impingement angles and uses erosion-resistant materials to extend the lifespan of valve trim components. The valve trim upgrade is a novel means for the plant to operate more efficiently without having to upgrade or redesign a whole system.
The EroSolve Wet Steam solution can be applied to any valve that handles high-pressure or high-temperature steam.
