Grundfos has completed the acquisition of Newterra, a Pittsburgh, PA,-based water and wastewater treatment solutions company. The news comes following the company’s initial announcement of the acquisition earlier this year.
The acquisition reflects Grundfos’ goal to expand its water treatment portfolio and grow its presence in the US and Canada. This adds to the series of strategic acquisitions completed since 2020, further strengthening its water and wastewater treatment portfolio and capabilities.
With the purchase, they will have more than 1,500 employees across North America and Europe.
