Honeywell has completed its acquisition of Sundyne from private equity firm Warburg Pincus in a USD$2.16 billion all-cash transaction.
Sundyne designs, manufactures and supports pumps and gas compressors used in process industries. Pumps brands include Sundyne, Sunflo, Ansimag, HMD Kontro and Marelli. The acquisition brings approximately 1,000 employees and significant aftermarket revenue generated from a large installed base at Honeywell.
According to Honeywell, Sundyne’s customer relationships, products and technology will unlock strategic growth potential for its UOP’s value chains in refining and petrochemicals, LNG, as well as clean and renewable fuels.
