From this month, the three previous divisions of IMI – IMI Critical Engineering, IMI Hydronic Engineering and IMI Precision Engineering – will come together, along with our individual product brands, under one united and strong IMI master brand.
The engineering challenges facing our customers are becoming increasingly complex. From navigating the energy transition to tackling digital transformation, all while working towards achieving Net Zero. Everyone within the process and industrial automation industry is on this journey, albeit at many different stages.
The strength and depth of engineering talent within IMI is one of its biggest assets. Indeed, it is the cornerstone of its own strategy to tackle these three mega trends head on. However, to truly unlock this potential, IMI needs to move away from a divisional mentality. Unifying IMI under one identity better reflects our experience and knowledge across our core industries.
We have already seen this approach work through its Growth Hub innovation engine, which has brought together teams from across IMI’s three legacy divisions to accelerate new product development.
A new visual identity will appear throughout its communications, packaging, and facilities; however, its people and products will remain the same. So, too, will its world-leading brands, including IMI CCI, IMI Orton, IMI Remosa, IMI VIVO, and IMI Z&J, to name but a few.
