JA Moody is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a stocking distributor for Norriseal-Wellmark Resilient and Metal Seated Butterfly Valves with an Extended Life Cycle. These valves, available in sizes ranging from 2” to 36”, are proudly made in America. JA Moody would like to introduce you to the advantages of Norriseal’s Angle Disc Design, specifically their Norris Series 200 Resilient Butterfly Valves. These valves offer a longer valve life and lower total cost of operation over the valve’s life cycle. With a 360° uninterrupted differential sealing, they provide a denser and more chemical resistant resilient lining.
Additionally, the rubber or metal liner isolates the valve body, making it a non-wetted part. The Norris Series 200 valves require less seating and unseating torque to operate, resulting in savings when using lever handles or smaller actuators. In comparison, competitor’s vertical disc design compresses the seat at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions, causing frictional wear and requiring more torque to operate the valve. Norriseal’s valve design is excellent for severe service applications and has a significantly longer life cycle based on field data and internal testing.
They also offer the Norris Series 285 Metal Butterfly Valves, available in sizes ranging from 3” to 36”. These valves are made in America and are available in ductile iron and cast steel options. They come with a three-year warranty and prompt delivery. They meet various industry standards such as API 609, ASME B31, API 598, ASME B31, ABS, Mil-V-22133, Mil-V-16468, Mil-S-901C, and USCG- All Categories for Spec. CG-115.
