A new Extended Flange Body design of DeZURIK’s successful KUL Urethane Lined Knife Gate Valve is now available. The KUL-EF Extended Flange is a direct dimensional replacement to the long-body style slurry push-through valves, but with the distinct advantage of not discharging any material during cycling.
Extended Flanged Valves are available in two face-to-face lengths: long pattern in sizes 2-24” (50-600mm) with dimensions that conform to typical long-pattern push-through style slurry valves with flange retainers; and short pattern in sizes 2-8” (50-200mm) with dimensions that conform to typical long pattern push-through style slurry valves without flange retainers.
Urethane Lined Knife Gate Valves are available in standard 150# and 300# flange drilling conforming to ASME B16.1 Class 125 and ASME B16.5 Class 150. Grooved end connections are also available as standard and conforms to ANSI/AWWA C606.
The KUL extended flange urethane liner encompasses the entire flange face and can serve as the gasket when mounted to raised face flanges. Gaskets are recommended only when the KUL-EF is mounted to FRP pipe flanges.
Urethane Lined Knife Gate Valves produce no discharge of process media to atmosphere and feature a one-piece, cast-in-place liner that provides bi-directional, drip-tight shutoff to either 150 or 250 psi (1030 or 1720 kPa) CWP. All wetted surfaces of the body are lined with urethane. DeZURIK KUL Valves have been successfully applied in a wide variety of applications, including abrasive slurries and dry abrasive materials.
Urethane Lined Knife Gate Valves are available in sizes 2-48″ (50-1200mm) with temperature ratings from -40 to 180°F (-40 to 82°C) as standard, with a variety of urethane compounds available on application.
Multiple packing system designs are available to meet a wide variety of slurry and dry application conditions. Additionally, DeZURIK’s packing system options provide zero leakage to atmosphere.
