The 2022 Valve World Mexico Conference is off to a great start, once again providing an important meeting point for the Mexican valve industry. On August 31st, the event’s first day marked unprecedented attendance as the expo brought together a wide range of valve professionals and end users to connect, network, talk shop, and learn about the latest technologies available to the global valve industry.
Held at the Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel, this year’s event has so far exceeded expectations. The expo floor was very busy as visitors had the opportunity to visit vendors and were provided with opportunities to learn about the latest industry developments and industry trends. The event is a great opportunity for companies to deliver their value proposition to audiences from all levels of the community and key end-user contacts from a variety of industries including oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, water & wastewater, and more.
The conference kicked off with a welcome from Chance Russo of Sesto Valves, followed by a keynote presentation on Savings on the Pipeline by Bronson Pate from TRICORD Consulting before breaking into sessions on Fugitive Emissions and a panel discussion on Valve Selection. The afternoon featured a Valve Lifecycle Panel, a session on Advanced Diagnostics and a very well-attended presentation on Updates on API 6D. The afternoon also offered a Fast Track Introduction to Valves Course that was very well-received.
Following the event, attendees were invited to join the party at a hospitality event hosted by Teadit and Neway. Taste testing at AIV’s sponsored Tequila bar was also a popular stop for the event visitors.
Day Two of the conference will feature sessions on Control Valves, Valves in Large Engineering Projects and New Technologies, as well as a Fugitive Emissions Course.
Thank you to our event sponsors A-T Controls, Bray, Cameron, a Schlumberger company, FBV, Neway, Walworth, Worcester & Xanik for their continued support in making this year’s Valve World Mexico Conference a great success! We look forward to seeing you again in 2023!
