Alfa Laval acquires Vortex Systems

Alfa Laval has acquired U.S. Manufacturer of mixing and blending solutions for the oil and gas industry, Vortex Systems. Vortex Systems wills be consolidated and integrated into Alfa Laval from June 30th, 2012. The Houston, Texas based Vortex Systems employed about 20 staff and 2011 sales of approximately USD$14.5 million.

 
 
Alfa Laval President and CEO Lars Renström said, “The acquisition of Vortex Systems will further strengthen our offering to the interesting oil and gas industry, both for onshore and offshore applications.”
